I would say the opposite. At least for the basis of this train of thought. That maliciousness makes one single-minded in their ideals and goals, which inevitably devolves into “Get mine, fuck them”. Which is inherently destructive, both for the person in question and those around them.

People keep trying to attribute maliciousness to stupidity as well. Mostly because it’s easier to dismiss stupidity than argue against it.
He’s shortsighted, narcissistic, and petty. But he doesn’t do things just to prove how much of a big idiot he is. Dismissing everything he does as “idiocy” just gives him more leash to piss on everyone from.
Haven’t judges been knocking down a bunch of his proclamations? It’s not bulletproof, and it hasn’t been everything, but clearly some things are a bridge too far. At least for now.
I see no one has explained yet, so I’ll give it a shot. He is excited about math, and that needs to be encouraged.

Guns can provide opportunity, but (in spite of Mao claiming to be communist) it truly comes from the joining of people for common cause. A gun can help even the playing field, but it can easily be abused by those with ulterior motives.

I’d assume it really depends on the context. Is the comment meant in a serious “help me” kind of way, a defeatist “life just isn’t worth living” kind of way, or a joking “millenials and gen z all want to kill themselves to get out of this hellish existence” kind of way?
Not that I have any kind of high opinion of Epic, but isn’t Unreal a pretty standard game engine for lots of big games?
Unfortunately not everyone is aware that water is wet. And often there are groups who try and convince people otherwise.
I agree that more ideas need to be put into action that can actually accomplish change for the better, but that requires that people be informed first.
How about a “can’t differentiate between sex and nudity” side and a “just wanna get our sweat on” side?
But why? Just calling things dumb, or stupid, or idiotic without any explanation is just a grade school way of saying “I don’t like a thing”. Without seeking a way to understand, and thus overcome it, it’s always just going to be “I’m smart and they’re dumb”, which is often the argument of those you’d criticize of “inherent stupidity”.
